Our Menus

Our food has won a Gold Healthy Eating Award from Shropshire Council.  We use a variety of fruit and vegetables to encourage children to eat healthily.  Our cook, Karen, creates a fresh and appealing weekly menu that changes regularly incorporating a range of foods to promote an interest and enjoyment in different foods and flavours.


The children have milk every day at snack time and are offered water throughout the day and at lunch time.


Our dishes can easily be adapted for weaning babies and we will work with parents to ensure a happy time whilst young babies are becoming used to new foods.

If mothers are still breastfeeding, we can arrange a quiet, comfortable space for you to feed at nursery.  We can also safely store and use expressed milk for baby during the day.

If your baby has formula milk we can make this freshly for each feed, please provide the milk of your choice and a bottle which we will will clean and sterilise after each feed.


During the year we grow our own food such as tomatoes, strawberries and potatoes as we have found that the children will eat more when they have actively been involved in sowing and nurturing seeds into plants which provide their food.
